Hayden's Version of the Emperor's New Clothes

We read the Emperor's New Clothes. Hayden had to write a story where he tricked someone.

I was on top of a building, and I had a net. I found my daddy and we jumped down from the building and we found a danger cat. It was in danger. The cat was in danger. I saved him. He licked me and licked me and licked me. I liked him. He was nice. Then, he gave me a message. Then, there was a bird, and a tiger and a snake and a giraffe. Every animal in the world went to me and liked me.

I went back on the building with my dad. We found a bad guy and I acted like the bad guy. I said, "Do you want to come to my house?" He did. Then, I said, "I have nice animals at my house." He believed me. But, when I opened the door, the animals attacked him. That was actually good. My animals attacked him, and attacked him and attacked him. The End.

Wow! You and your dad sure have some awesome adventures in that cool imagination of yours. I love reading all of your stories.

That was a pretty clever trick you played on the bad guy.

Love you,
Aunt Lyns

Every animal in the world came to you?!?! You're like that guy who built the ark!

I love your stories. You should write stories a lot.
