A Hayden Fable

Hayden had to write a fable that was like The Lion and the Mouse. Here's his version:

Once upon a time my dad got me a drink at the gas station. It was a coke. We went to the beach. I said, "I can help you, Dad." My dad said, "You can not help me." But I was right. I helped me. He said, "Can you give me that pencil down there?" And I did. I helped him. And he said, "You're right." We went to the beach. We found some fish and we eated them. I loved it. And then we went on a boat. Then, we dived and saw some sharks. Then we went back on the boat. After that we went back to the beach and then back home. The End.

I love your fable! KK will like that there is a gas station in the story. I made her a 'drink station' at home for her to get her own water out of the fridge. But, she likes to call it the 'gas station'. She will tell me when she is thirsty that she 'is going to the gas station'. So funny! I bet your daddy thinks that it pretty cool too since he is the gas station drink King!

Love you cool kiddo!
